Cape Town has skilled people looking for work, and homes and businesses who need help for a day or a week. JobZapp closes that gap, clients post in minutes, verified workers nearby apply, and payment runs through the app.
We are built for on-demand shifts and short cover, not permanent placements. That keeps it simple for clients and keeps the earnings with the worker who did the job.
Our story
The Dream
Thabiet Davids, the Founder of JobZapp, saw a common problem across South Africa: capable people sitting idle during the week, not because they lacked motivation, but because work wasn't accessible. At the same time, homeowners, families, and businesses struggled to find reliable temporary help without going through endless CVs.
The breakthrough moment came unexpectedly. In the early hours of one morning, Davids had a vivid dream: 'Uber' + 'Jobs.' What if hiring temporary workers could be as easy as booking a ride? That spark led to JobZapp, a platform connecting people who want work with those who need it.
Today, JobZapp's mission remains the same: to make temporary work simple, reliable, and accessible across Cape Town and Africa.
