We’re in the Cape Flats industrial hub with Nisha. Nisha, the recent winter storms caused serious disruption across Cape Town. What was happening inside your warehouse when the weather hit?
Nisha
Honestly, it was chaos, and it didn't just last a few hours it dragged on for days. On the first morning, part of our roof started leaking right onto the packing line. We had to scramble to move stock away from water damage, all while half our regular shift staff couldn’t get to work because public transport was completely flooded out. Orders were backing up by the hour, and by day two, the backlog was eyeing us down while delivery trucks queued outside.
